2017-18 (Sr.) – Fan ended her career with the Buffs with the second best season stroke average (73.16) through all 14 events. She recorded 35 of her 38 rounds in the 70s and the other three were in the 60s. Her best performance in the fall was a 1-under 212 at the Coeur D’Alene Collegiate. Fan earned the second medalist honor of her career at the Meadow Club Women’s Collegiate, carding a two round score of 67-73. At the Pac-12 Championships, Fan improved from her junior season finish (t11th) to a seventh place finish with a scorecard of 71-72-74—214. Fan became just the second Buff to play in four NCAA Regional events, joining Jenny Coleman (2010-14). She tied for sixth at regionals with a 5-under 211. At NCAAs, Fan finished tied for 42nd with a 7-over (75-74-74—223). Fan’s name is all over the CU record book. Her 46 career events played is tied for second and her 127 rounds played is fifth overall. Fan’s 74.24 stroke average is first overall. She set the senior record for most rounds played (38), stroke average (73.16), and lowest SCIRP (1.26).

2016-17 (Jr.) --Fan continued to play a key role in the Buffaloes rotation as a junior where she competed in all 11 events. She finished the season with a 74.75 stroke average ranking third overall on the team. Fan recorded 24 of her 28 rounds played in the 70s, with one in the 60s. Her round of 68 was her best round of the season and came at the Silverado Showdown where she posted a 71-72-68—211 or 5-under par scorecard to tie for fourthoverall at the tournament. At the Pac-12 Championships, Fan helped the Buffs to their best conference finish in school history as the team finished second overall. She posted a final scorecard of 72-73-77--222 to tie for 11th overall at the conference championships.Fan was the most consistent Buffon the team collecting a team high 334 pars and 56 birdies.In the summer of 2017 Fan competed in theU.S. Women’s Amateur Championships where she finished T-128th.

2015-16 (So.)—In her second year with the Buffaloes, Fan turned in another solid year. She was a regular in the team’s rotation, playing in all 12 tournaments and posted a 74.50 stroke average, third best for the Buffs in 30 rounds. Fan earned her best career finish at the Bay Area Intercollegiate, posting a 72-70—142 or 2-under par to take third place, also making it her first top five finish of her collegiate career. In total, Fan closed out the season tied for second on the team with a pair of top 10 finishes. She tied for ninth place at the East & West Match Play Challenge as she helped the Buffaloes win the stroke play portion to earn the top seed in match play. Fan tallied five top 20 finishes between both the fall and spring seasons, and wrapped up the year with a team-best 28 rounds in the 70s. She posted five subpar rounds, four even-par rounds and she was third on the team with 90 percent of her rounds (27/30) counting toward team scoring. Fan was fourth on the squad with 58 birdies and paced the Buffs with 362 pars. She was recognized for her achievement in the classroom being named a Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention and earned CU Athlete of the Week honors (Nov. 2-8).

2014-15 (Fr.)—Fan had quite an impressive debut season for the Buffaloes, posting a freshman school record 74.87 stroke average over 31 rounds. She earned six top 20 finishes, second most on the team and shot a team-leading 28 rounds in the 70s, four of those were even-par, which was tied for first on the squad. During the fall, Fan competed in four tournaments and tallied 75.56 stroke average. Her top fall performance came in the Minnesota Invitational where she finished tied for 14th overall after carding a 78-75-73—226 or 10-over par score. Fan had an even better spring, posting a 74.50 stroke average. The spring was highlighted by the fact she earned a top 25 finish in all six regular season tournaments. She had a career-best performance at the Silverado Showdown in Napa, Calif., recording a 74-75-73—222 score and tied for 11th place overall. Fan was named a WGCA Academic All-America Scholar and CU Female Freshman Athlete of the Year.

High School—She received both academic and outstanding achievement awards at the Kamehameha Schools before finishing her last year and a half of schooling online so she could increase her golf training. Fan graduated in August 2013, but due to her young age, took time off between high school and college to further improve her golf game, attending the KMR School of Golf, a PGA of America Approved Golf School based at the Ko’olau Golf Club, and competing in amateur competitions. She had an overall average of fifth in the Interscholastic League of Hawaii and was named a second-teamHonolulu Star-AdvertiserAll-Star.

Other—She was the Hawaii State Junior Golf Association Match Play Girl Champion and the Makalei Invitational Ladies Champion. She claimed low-amateur honors at the Colorado Women’s Open, becoming the only amateur to advance to the final round. She placed fifth at the Golfweek West Coast Junior Invitational. She had top 15 finishes at the USGA Women’s Amateur and the PGA Junior Championship and had top 20 finishes at the Canadian Women’s Amateur Championship, the Joanne Winter Arizona Silver Belle and the 2012 and ’13 Callaway Junior World Championships. She won the Mauna Lani Resort Hawaii State Open women’s amateur division title in December 2013.

Personal—Brittany Mahina Wei Ling Fan was born on December 29, 1995 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Her parents are Freddy Fan and Sharon Zambo-Fan. She has one brother, Michael, who played golf at the Air Force Academy.She is just the second CU women’s golfer to come from the Aloha State. Fan enjoys cooking, photography and exercise. Fan says she chose Colorado for the coaching staff’s experience and passion for the game. Fan views Colorado as a place where she could elevate her game to the next level, get a great education and become part of a National Championship team.She says CU’s facilities are first class when it comes to developing a well-balanced athlete. She also enjoys Boulder’s “healthy environment.” After college, Fan hopes to play on the Tour and become the best golfer she can be.
