Clymna Carol J. Sell Krause 1930 — 2024 Carol Jean (nee Sell) Krause of Clyman passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at the age of 94 years. She was born in the Town of Clyman on January 17, 1930, the daughter of Elmer and Frieda (nee Schultz) Sell. She attended Oak Grove School, walking there every day! Carol was confirmed at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, Oak Grove on March 29, 1942. She married Walter Krause on May 18, 1947 in Oak Grove. Walter and Carol lived in Clyman for 52 years, and in Juneau prior to that. They enjoyed polka dances, many trips to Las Vegas together, and Friday nights out at the Blew Inn. He was born on October 24, 1948 in Hustisford, Wisconsin to Edwin and Lillian (Pautz) Sette. Robert graduated from Juneau High School in 1966 and received his bachelor's degree from UW-Madison in 1970 where he was a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity. In his youth Robert was an active member of FFA and dedicated his career to the agriculture industry.
